The total faculty strength is 121 of which 18 have Ph.D. degree and others have M.Phil. degrees. Teachers in the department of Botany had been sanctioned UGC grant of Rs 4 lakhs for major projects and 0.9 lakhs for the minor projects. Three members of various faculties are pursuing their Ph.D programmes under FIP in BARD, Trichy. Two members of Chemistry department are doing part-time Ph.D research programme. Teachers in the departments of Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography, History, Commerce, Tamil & Zoology, English have made many publications. Many faculty members guide M.Phil. students.
