The teaching process is learner-centered. The college prepares an academic calendar (Date of reopening, date of closing, holidays, exams, Declaration of results and convocation) well in advance and organizes its programme in conformity with the fixed schedule. The Principal gives leadership to consititutent committees for controlling the academic functions. Class room lectures are supplemented with models, audiovisual charts, overhead projector, Home TV, Charts, Maps, Field studies, Tutorials, Wall posters, Question answer session and Regular class tests. Students are also given home assignments and are encouraged to participate in the Seminars, Quiz programmes, Workshops and Debates. Periodic tests are part of the educationally disadvantaged students who belong to weaker sections of the society. The college provides remedial coaching in English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science, Zoology, Botany and Geography.
